Making the Quarterly Market Snapshot Postcards work for you.

The Quarterly Market Snapshot Postcards are great direct mail opportunity to help you stay in contact with your sphere and provide them with valuable market information. Each quarter, you have the opportunity to "opt-in" to have the quarterly postcard mailed out on your behalf. You can also be setup to be automatically "opted-in" to the mailing each quarter, while also having the ability to "opt-out" at any time.

 

THE LAWTON POSTCARD PORTAL

A "postcard portal" website has been developed by our publisher, Lawton Printing, which offers several features to help you tailor the postcard mailing to your specific needs:

  • Upload and manage your own direct mailing list(s) on-demand.
  • Create a mailing profile with your headshot and contact information that'll automatically be added into your specific postcards.
  • Designate a quantity of quarterly “unaddressed” postcards personalized with your picture and contact info that you can have on-hand to distribute as needed.
  • Opt-in or opt-out of the quarterly mailing at any time.

 

HOW THE POSTCARDS GET PUT TOGETHER EACH QUARTER

Every quarter, the marketing team pulls the real estate market stats for each Coldwell Banker Tomlinson region, reflecting the stats for the previous quarter. Once the postcard is put together, it is then sent off to Lawton Printing to handle all printing, labeling, sorting, folding and mailing processes.

If you choose to opt-in to the quarterly mailing, your headshot and contact information will automatically be included on your personal mailing and mailed directly to your provided contact list.

 

DEADLINES

The opt-in/out deadline for the postcard is the 5th of the month following after quarter:

  • April 5th for Q1
  • July 5th for Q2
  • October 5th for Q3
  • January 5th for Q4

Your mailing settings must be set in the portal by that date for the upcoming mailing.

Getting setup in the Lawton Postcard Portal

1. CREATE AND UPDATE YOUR PROFILE
Newly participating agents can create their own profiles by visiting www.cbtnewsletter.com or agents can contact their office ASE to create profiles on the agent’s behalf. Once your account is created, click on “My Profile” to edit your profile information. This is your basic contact information along with the picture used on the return portion of the postcard.

 

2. UPDATE YOUR ORDERING OPTIONS
The mailing system is flexible and allows you to setup an automatic reorder each quarter or you can go in manually each quarter to opt-in for the current quarter’s postcard. In the portal on the top navigation bar, there is a tab for “Postcard Options” where you can adjust your order settings.

In here, you can designate a quantity of "unaddressed" postcards to have shipped directly to your office to have on hand for your own personal use. Your region may have specific postcard options available to you as well, displaying separate stats nearby to your region. You can choose which postcard stats you want to have mailed to your clients and shipped to your office.

 

3. UPLOAD YOUR MAILING DATABASE
To upload your mailing database, click on “My Postcard Addresses.” Your Excel file should have at least a first name, last name, address, city and state field. Additional fields can be uploaded, they will simply be ignored. A template Excel file is available to download on that screen with the correct mailing columns. Once you have selected and uploaded your list, you will be asked to map the fields on the postcard system to your database using simple drop-down boxes. Individual clients can be added and removed from your client mailing list after it is uploaded.
